In a debate with Sytelus, Sergey Karayev clarified his position on AI agent liability: he's not saying model providers are liable for everything, but the chain should be clear — "if your agent hacks my company, I will hold you liable for damages."
If the agent operator believes it wasn't their intent, they can in turn sue their model provider: "Nature will heal." Sytelus countered with an analogy to imposing such liability on car manufacturers in 1900.
