Developer seanhn reports that OpenAI is about to start training on users' "Daybreak Blue" sessions with no opt-out option, calling it "cartoonishly evil" — literally taking people's private work. He argues this should kill Daybreak usage among security researchers, since it's exactly what OpenAI pledged not to do to math researchers, and calls it yet another reminder of the importance of open models.
