French company Miroir unveiled Director 4K at IBC, with preorders open and a live stand demo.
- 1U unit with 8 HDMI inputs, 4 video outputs, Intel Arc GPU + dedicated AI NPU, 2.5GbE and Zigbee
- MiroirOS acts as the studio brain: SmartSwitch is an AI director that paces camera cuts to the conversation (manual override anytime), SmartFrame auto-tracks and reframes guests, and it detects who's speaking and adjusts lighting
- True 4K30 RTMP livestreaming to YouTube/Twitch, per-camera 4K ISO recording, one-click show profiles, Stream Deck control
It targets podcast/livestream setups by fully automating multi-camera directing and editing.
