Developer WazaqG released Free My VRAM (v0.1.0), an open-source watchdog that watches ComfyUI's queue and execution history and unloads resident models via the /free API after a configurable idle period—no workflow edits or custom nodes needed, never unloads during active renders, with --free-now and dry-run modes and zero Python dependencies. On Ubuntu + RTX 5090 + ComfyUI 0.34.2, resident Krea 2 dropped VRAM from 29,820 MiB to 828 MiB within 5 seconds. He's seeking testers across other GPUs, versions and Windows.
