The Pentagon is reportedly discussing a $5 billion loan to Fluidstack to support the AI infrastructure supply chain.
The author argues that if taxpayers help finance AI infrastructure, public benefits should be written into the deal — "this company might become strategically important" shouldn't be the entire return on public money.
