Dev Builds His Own Streaming Platform With Rust Backend and Agent-Driven UI via MCP
jasonkneen · x · 2026-09-13
Developer Jason Kneen is building his own streaming platform because he was tired of middle-man services breaking. Stack: SwiftUI frontend, a Rust backend with zero dropped frames so far, built-in agents that generate additional UIs in Rust/React plus content and widgets, audio filtering for coding demos, and plans for agent-driven live camera switching — all fully drivable via MCP, so he jokes he won't even be needed eventually.
