Nex-N2.5 agentic models hit OpenRouter free tier, built around visual feedback loops

Nex AGI's Nex-N2.5 family, including free Nex-N2.5-Mini and Nex-N2.5-Pro, is now available via OpenRouter's unified API, with Mini having processed about 87.3B tokens.
The models are built for long-horizon computer use: agentic coding inside a visual feedback loop, where the agent explores codebases, makes multi-file changes, runs commands, drives browsers and desktop UIs, and tests software from the user's perspective, diagnosing and revising when observed behavior diverges from intent.
The post highlights a demo where Nex-N2.5 Pro builds a SQL interpreter from scratch—implementing, testing, and iteratively adding WHERE clauses, JOINs, subqueries, qualified names, and table aliases—positioning it for autonomous software engineering, GUI QA, and deep research workflows.
