Trying to build a characters-to-video pipeline with Astra: consistency across shots still fails
Illustrious-Noise-96 · reddit · 2026-09-13
A Reddit user shares an attempt to use Astra to build a "characters > scene > combine > video" pipeline via JSON files. Astra can generate JSON and run test iterations, but badly fails at the core requirement: keeping characters and images consistent across multiple shots.
The author had a similar result months ago. It's doable in theory, but would require babysitting several custom node packs that can break everything — suggesting shot-level consistency remains effectively out of reach.
