xAI ships Grok Bot guides library: cloud-resident AI teammate you can set up in ~10 minutes
XFreeze · x · 2026-09-12
xAI released a dedicated Grok Bot Guides library, with the Grok Bot 101 guide positioned as the best entry point.
Grok Bot is essentially an AI teammate with its own persistent cloud computer: it can run apps, browse the web, write and execute code, keep working after you close your laptop, run on schedules/triggers, connect to Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Slack and Notion, hand back control for logins/2FA/CAPTCHA, chain with other Bots in multi-agent workflows, and complete payments via Link after approval. Setup reportedly takes 10–15 minutes; the guides hub covers engineering, support, templates, multi-Bot teams, mobile dev, design, GTM and product.
