LiteReality-Agent open-sources pipeline turning room scans into simulation-ready 3D scenes

LiteReality-Agent is an open-source agentic system that turns real-world room scans into realistic, interactable, simulation-ready 3D scenes — something the authors say no existing tool could do. The new release adds four major upgrades: a Layout Agent that converts noisy layouts into clean, physically valid ones; simulation-ready articulated object reconstruction with full physical properties; direct MuJoCo integration; and small-object recovery using GPT-6 plus Astra. The repo (400 stars) ships with a scanner app, project page, and blog; the flow is scan your room, let the agent rebuild it with articulated assets, then drop it straight into physics simulation.
