Claude Code 2.1.269 changes paste keybinding from cmd+v to ctrl+v, breaking macOS flow
sonewman · ghdev · 2026-09-12
A developer filed issue #93718 on anthropics/claude-code reporting that after upgrading to version 2.1.269, pasting in the macOS terminal (VSCode) no longer works with cmd+v, which was replaced by ctrl+v — and even that doesn't paste properly. Comparing against an unupdated terminal session where cmd+v still works, the author concludes the change came with the new version and questions the departure from the macOS-standard keybinding.
