iPhone Duo only supports the $79 USB-C Apple Pencil, not the $129 Pencil Pro

MacRumors reports that Apple's dual-screen foldable iPhone Duo will be the first iPhone to support Apple Pencil — but only the $79 USB-C model, not the $129 Apple Pencil Pro.
- Likely reason: the iPhone Duo lacks a magnetic charging surface; the USB-C Pencil charges via a port under a sliding cap
- The USB-C model lacks pressure sensitivity, double-tap, barrel roll, haptics, squeeze and Find My, keeping only tilt
- Pencil support works on both the inner and outer displays and arrives later this year; the iPhone Duo launches October 23 with pre-orders October 16
