Runway launches MCP to generate images and videos inside ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor

Runway has released Runway MCP, now listed in the ChatGPT plugin directory.
- Availability: works with ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Replit and other agents — install via chatgpt.com/plugins, sign in, then mention @Runway in any chat.
- Capabilities: generate and restyle images/videos in-conversation; turn a single product photo into a finished multi-shot commercial with consistent lighting; produce marketing videos from just a product URL; multi-shot, dialogue-driven storytelling.
- Demo pipeline: style frame in Runway, animation in Blender, final render with Seedance 2.5.
- Runway's AI Summit is on 9/30 in San Francisco with speakers from DeepMind, NVIDIA and Physical Intelligence.
