pchandrasekar · x · 2026-09-12
Stack Overflow CEO Prashanth Chandrasekar announced the return of Developer Story, a feature deprecated about five years ago. With chatbots now answering coding questions directly and most LLMs trained on Stack Overflow's data, the company argues creators should derive value from their contributions. Day-one features include "specialties" that surface proven expertise, and developers can claim their stories now.
