Anthropic pushes back on Slack breach rumors but admits security must be reinvented yearly
logangraham · x · 2026-10-28
Anthropic security lead Logan Graham responded to Will Depue's claims that consulting firm Cathedral gained full admin access to Anthropic's Slack workspace. Graham says the reported facts are wrong and won't go point by point due to sensitivity, but agrees with the broader message: "we basically need to reinvent security every year at this point." Depue is pressing for specifics on what Cathedral actually accessed — read-only vs admin, public channels only, and whether it lasted more than 12 hours.
