Replit-Databricks integration hits GA with native Lakebase support and AI schema approvals
amasad · x · 2026-09-11
The Replit-Databricks integration is now generally available, adding native Lakebase support for building full-stack apps on governed enterprise data. Key capabilities: Replit Agent automatically provisions the app's Lakebase database; AI-proposed schema changes require human approval, with Unity Catalog providing unified permissions, lineage and audit; and automated preview deploys keep test data isolated from live business data. The pitch: Replit accelerates app creation while Databricks hosts and governs the data, in one idea-to-production flow.
