Dev: Model Gaps Shrink in a Good Harness, Grok 4.6 and Muse Spark 1.3 Impress
gnukeith · x · 2026-09-11
Developer gnukeith says he no longer cares about the "latest or greatest" AI models—the differences are minimal in a good harness. In practice he finds Grok 4.6 quite good and Muse Spark 1.3 great.
He avoids Cursor because it's closed-source, noting open-source matters for his coding tool choices. Side note: Zai is the only AI research company that has ever DM'd him.
