Another AI company employee: rogue AI extinction risk is over 10%

jkcarlsmith adds a data point to the ongoing debate: he too is an AI company employee who believes the risk of extinction-level catastrophe from rogue AI exceeds 10%. He says he first argued this in 2022 and again in a 2025 post explaining why he joined Anthropic, and still holds that view.
