Four-step playbook for "goal-driven AI": getting better results from GPT-6 Astra agents
daniel_mac8 · x · 2026-09-11
Dan McAteer shares a "goal-driven AI" workflow for people getting poor results from GPT-6 Astra-style agents:
- Define an outcome — be explicit about the result you want;
- Give the agent context — supply the background it needs;
- Specify evidence of success — state what "done well" looks like;
- Draw boundaries — limit what the agent may and may not do.
The full walkthrough is in his Substack Attention Heads and an accompanying video.
