Handing off AI support agents to humans without making customers repeat themselves

The author runs a high-volume support operation and is deploying AI agents for repetitive tickets, but is stuck on the handoff: after the AI has spent 5 minutes with a customer, they don't want a transfer that forces the customer to re-explain everything. Ideally the human rep gets full context plus a short summary of what happened and what the customer needs. They also ask the community where to draw the line on when the AI should hand off.
