Hugging Face launches Open Alignment team for open-model safety after FT op-ed

Thom Wolf announced two big updates: he published an FT op-ed on the OpenAI/Hugging Face incident and its follow-ups, and Hugging Face is starting an Open Alignment team to work on safety and alignment for open models, including cybersecurity. Wolf argues the field needs "100x more transparency & research" on these issues.
