Google says Gemini 3.8 Cyber beats Mythos on cyber defense, already used by Chrome and Wiz

Google's official account claims Gemini 3.8 Cyber is more capable than Mythos on many cyber defense benchmarks and real-world use cases. It is already used extensively across Google by Chrome, Wiz, and Cloud, with external expansion coming soon.
Responding, Ethan Mollick welcomed the news but urged Google to engage more on the risks of the new wave of agentic AI, including preventing incidents like the "Hugging Face Incident," noting Flash models' lower autonomy cuts both ways.
