alexanderawolf's team built a small artificial brain "primitive": 300 neurons reacting to a changing environment in real time purely through their own neural dynamics — no training, no RL, no hand-coded obstacle avoidance. Chris Paxton notes it's great to see alternatives to transformer scaling, since biological intelligence remains far more efficient than what data-hungry AI works around.
