Apple Unveils First Foldable iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro With On-Device Siri AI

Under new CEO John Ternus, Apple launched its first foldable, the iPhone Duo (from ¥15,999): a 5.4-inch outer and 7.6-inch inner display, nano-texture glass to visually erase creases, under-display camera, and the 2nm A20 Pro chip with dual 32-core Neural Engines doubling AI compute.
iPhone 18 Pro (from ¥9,999) gets a 3x larger vapor chamber (+40% sustained performance) and a first-ever variable aperture camera (f/1.48–f/4).
Siri AI ships broadly with iOS 27 beta: personal context across apps, world knowledge, screen awareness, and actions across 300k+ apps, already handling 2.5B+ requests daily. Apple Watch Series 12 samples heart rate 60x more often and adds Siri Recap meeting summaries.
