After the continuedev acquisition, Tyler Dunn co-wrote 'The Superdark Factory: Toward the Full Automation of Software' with Disintegrator, published in Antikythera (MIT Press). Promoters say it zooms out from the usual 3-6 month discourse to a 3-6 year thesis on agentic software engineering; a highlight is the 'neurotic governor' idea — a software factory's output is capped by the governor's need to understand all outputs.
