Google Research's Connectomics team, with HHMI Janelia, released the complete wiring diagram of a male fruit fly's brain and central nervous system — the largest brain map by proofread neurons to date. Using AI to map nervous systems across species paves the way for future treatment of human neural and cognitive ailments.
