Claude Mythos 5.1 excludes UK AI Security Institute from testing for the first time

Per the FT, Anthropic's newly launched Claude Mythos 5.1 is only available to vetted US organizations, excluding the UK's AI Security Institute — the global leader in frontier model testing — for the first time. Commenters argue this doesn't mean commercial AI access to Europe will close: revenue incentives push companies to keep US/EU access aligned, though cyber/defense procurement rules in the EU are the real worry.
