Give the agent a physical lab and let it write the simulator: a fast path to robotics AGI
YouJiacheng · x · 2026-09-09
A thread argues that sim-to-real failure cases are trivial to fix, and that next-gen models (or current ones with enough sampling) can produce excellent simulators with essentially no sim-to-real gap — claimed as the fastest path to robotics AGI. YouJiacheng adds: give the agent a physical lab and let it write the correct simulator to reproduce real physics; the caveat is needing a robot that can autonomously reset the lab.
