kornia-rs: Rust Low-Level 3D Vision Library Outperforms OpenCV and NVIDIA VPI

Kornia maintainer edgarriba highlighted kornia-rs, a low-level 3D computer vision library in Rust offering fast, thread-safe image I/O and processing through a single API that runs on CPU or NVIDIA GPU.
He claims the latest version outperforms existing libraries such as PIL, OpenCV and NVIDIA VPI, and is open to collaborations. In an earlier reply he noted that options explored over the summer weren't mature enough for Jetson/robotics use compared to plain cudarc, but he's happy to revisit.
