Ahead of Apple's fold event, China/Asia chatter: Huawei, Xiaomi and Apple all launching folds within the same 72 hours — the first time domestic brands didn't schedule around Apple. 107 A-share 'foldable concept' stocks averaged 110%+ gains on rumor alone. Foxconn's Longhua complex is hiring temps at $3-4/hour (skipping medical exams) to build a $2,300+ phone. Two of the three brands run their own chips; Apple is the only one that doesn't.
