Google DeepMind released AlphaGenome Atlas, an AI system that predicts the molecular effects of all 9 billion possible single-letter DNA mutations across the human genome — including the mysterious 98% that doesn't code for proteins.
The poster calls it Nobel-prize-level bio/AI acceleration, arguing these kinds of scientific breakthroughs are the most exciting development in AI right now.
