DeepMind's AlphaGenome Atlas predicts effects of all 9 billion single-letter DNA mutations

Google DeepMind's new AlphaGenome Atlas uses AI to predict the molecular effects of all 9 billion possible single-letter DNA mutations across the human genome, including the 98% that doesn't code for proteins. Researchers can rapidly search the space and rank variants by likely biological impact. Early use has already helped solve a rare disease case and uncovered 22% more non-coding genetic associations in UK Biobank data.
