Codex-Ported Doom Now Runs Offline on a Samsung TV, Played With the Remote
GenJeppo · reddit · 2026-09-08
A Reddit user got the original Doom running offline on a Samsung S90C TV: built on Cloudflare's Chocolate Doom WebAssembly port, sideloaded as a Tizen app, using the original shareware episode. They used Codex (GPT6) to adapt the code for TV remote controls — everything runs locally with no external connection.
