GPT-6 Astra drives Blender via MCP: load-model animation escapes uncanny valley
teortaxesTex · x · 2026-09-08
Japanese developer @kiyoshishin shares an improved procedural quadruped animation approach: correcting with a simplified load model in Blender, anchored on hoof-ground contact and estimated weight, so the whole body moves in coordination — noticeably more natural (before/after shown). All the work was done autonomously by GPT-6 Astra controlling Blender via MCP. The reposter notes it is "uncomfortably close to the end of the uncanny valley."
