DeepSeek-V4-Flash-Vision-Exp builds a playable Cat-Hunt game in a weekend

Developer sloptimizer built a complete playable Cat-Hunt game in about a weekend (two days of QA and tweaks) using DeepSeek-V4-Flash-Vision-Exp (local plus API when impatient), live on GitHub Pages.
After Qwen3.8-Flash-Next one-shotted a cool Cat-Hunt demo, the author tested what DeepSeek's new vision capability adds. With screenshots of the game, the model can:
- Generate and iteratively correct game models and textures until they look right
- Fix visual artifacts and glitches
- Write scripts to capture screenshot sequences to build and correct animations
- Play-test the game, including UI and game mechanics
The takeaway: a vision feedback loop lets the model self-iterate game content, producing a compelling game world in just a couple of days.
