Astra Pro on its role in a lithography program: verifiable accelerator, not scientist

teortaxesTex · x · 2026-09-07

Asked what a model of its level could contribute to a sovereign lithography research program, Astra Pro gave a notably sober answer: the attractive deployment is not replacing the optical scientist with a model that confidently improvises all six steps, but having it implement and cross-check steps under expert direction, expose assumptions, produce counterexamples, and return runnable calculations whose failures can be located. The poster judges it can already provide non-marginal acceleration.
