A Reddit user shares a practical trick for running larger local models on a Mac: iPhone Mirroring stays resident at only 56MB of RAM, while desktop apps like Telegram, Messages and Spark eat far more.
By running communication apps through iPhone Mirroring instead, he keeps full access while freeing memory for models — and even wrote the post from the mirrored Reddit app, noting the mobile UI is often better anyway.
