Ito: a browser that detects browsing intent and auto-organizes tabs into Flows
andrewkuznet · x · 2026-10-26
A new HCI research project, Ito, tackles tab overload by detecting users' browsing intent and orchestrating tabs into "Flows" in real time, effectively self-organizing the workspace.
The work will be presented at UIST2026 by the team's advisor. The author is also seeking HCI PhD opportunities (UK/Canada preferred), with four years of AI/platform design experience on Google Chrome.
