Xiaomi launched its first 'mid-fold' phone, the Mi 18Fold (from ¥10,999), and the Pad 9 Pro Max, both debuting the in-house 3nm XRING O3 processor.
- 18Fold: 5.38" outer + 7.58" inner display at √2:1, 10.68mm thick, 219g, up to 6 parallel apps; a limited 1,500-unit ceramic edition sells for ¥15,999 — Xiaomi's priciest phone ever. Lei Jun cited 80,000+ drop tests and 1,513 destroyed engineering units.
- XRING O3: 24B transistors, all-big-core 10-core CPU, AnTuTu v12 score above 5.61M, 200TOPS NPU. Xiaomi's MiMo team built a custom 3B on-device quantized model, boosting first-token performance 40%.
- XRING O100 (1.22TB/s bandwidth, 16x flagship phones) and 3nm driving chip D100 (supports local 200B-parameter models) arrive H1 next year.
