Autowash Robotics launches commercial robotic car wash: 3D-scanned, 4-minute, 76L per wash

Autowash Robotics' operating system entered commercial operation this month at its Lakeside site in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, after 14 months of development.
How it works:
- The system 3D-scans each car — shape, dimensions, contours, and attachments like cargo boxes and spoilers — building a digital model
- Two industrial arms generate a real-time cleaning path for that specific vehicle instead of a fixed spray pattern
- Fully touch-free, using high-pressure filtered water and non-corrosive, PFAS-free chemistry
Key numbers: under 20 gallons (76 L) of water per wash, clean and dry in about 4 minutes, and a four-bay site draws 320 amps — roughly half a conventional touch-free installation.
