Full teardown: inside Zmotor's 32mm linear actuator for humanoids

The Soft Robotics Podcast published a 38-minute full teardown of the Zmotor linear actuator from China's Hardin Robotics Partners. Packed into a 32mm body: the stator copper windings creating the magnetic field, the rotor spinning inside the stator to drive the screw, and an Inverted Planetary Roller Screw (IPRS) converting rotation into strong, precise linear motion. Actuators like this determine how strong, fast and precise a humanoid can move. The show is touring humanoid robotics companies across China.
