Open-source Pokémon battle prototype animates moves on the fly with fal's H3 Max video model

Developer @XXXXFLARE built a real-time Pokémon battle prototype using fal's H3 Max video model: a rules engine resolves hits, damage, and status effects (paralysis, fainting), then AI generates continuous cel-shaded 2D animations on the fly — recreating the childhood wish of Pokémon battles that play out like the anime.

The project is open-sourced on GitHub as pokemonlive, with a pixel-art UI, turn-based singles battles, and Chinese/English/Japanese support. The author notes it is an unofficial, local, non-commercial learning prototype.
