Prompt trick: make Claude explain like 'grug', one half-screen chunk at a time
tokenbender · x · 2026-09-07
tokenbender shares a prompt technique for making Claude's answers easier to digest: ask it to "let grug present this info to me," then add instructions like "give me two prose narratives" or anything of your choice.
The key constraint is forcing the model to respond in text that fits in ≤50% of your screen, one thing at a time, to minimize cognitive load. It emerged from a reply noting that Claude's answers can be hard to follow in niche domains (e.g., MedTech), where users often need to ask it to dumb things down.
