Lockpaw: open-source macOS app makes your screen glow when Claude Code needs you

A developer built Lockpaw, a free MIT-licensed 10MB Swift menu-bar app that locks the screen without sleeping the Mac and makes it glow when Claude Code hits a permission prompt or finishes. It hooks in via Notification/Stop hooks in settings., also works with Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, Copilot CLI and Aider. Most of the app was written in Claude Code sessions, which solved CGEventTap threading, Sparkle codesigning order and a secure-input Cmd+Q bug.
