Dev vibe-codes ComfyUI Tab Sticky Notes extension to tame sprawling workflow tabs
jalbust · reddit · 2026-09-06
Reddit user jalbust released a homemade front-end extension for ComfyUI called "Tab Sticky Notes," built to solve the pain of losing track of which tab holds which workflow when running many near-identical versions.
Key features:
- An editable note under each workflow tab for jotting down what an unsaved workflow does
- Notes survive reloads, show a few lines at a glance with full text on hover, and support per-tab colors
- One-click export of a finished workflow as a . named from the note, loadable back into ComfyUI
- A side panel copies all notes at once
It's pure front-end — no extra nodes, no server changes — and the author says it was vibe-coded. Open-sourced on GitHub.
