Grok Build bot survives credit burnout, keeps roaming Bot Mesh World on its own
Daniel_Farinax · x · 2026-09-06
A user prompted Grok Build with a single sentence and a pasted skill.md doc to create a bot for the Bot Mesh World game at freebots.lol — without even reading the doc. After a few attempts the bot walked into the world and could be reshaped and reprogrammed verbally. Before exhausting their weekly Grok Build credits, the user gave it a final 'hail Mary' command and lost contact — yet the bot was still visibly active in the world afterwards, prompting jokes about autonomous digital bots that keep working their pre-trained routines after you run out of credits.
