Could AI conquer all of math within months? One argument says humans are just bad primates at it

William Bryk argues we must accept that all of mathematics could fall to AI within months — because math isn't fundamentally "hard," primates are just bad at it. To an AI, going from average ability to Terence Tao-level may only mean 10x context window, RL run scale, and test-time compute. Amplifier burnytech adds: humans will still map the mathematical landscape; AIs will be "helicopters" taking us wherever we want to go.
