Semantic search already tempts grad students away from problem-driven math discovery

Doomslide notes that access to semantic search from models 4-5 generations ago already creates a temptation for graduate students to feedback-loop with the entire corpus of mathematics — meaning one is fundamentally less likely to discover new maths by attacking any particular problem. It's the first half of his argument that AI could end traditional mathematical research.
