Survey: 78% believe AI will ultimately improve cyber defense capabilities

A survey by IST on AI and national security finds 78% of respondents believe AI will ultimately improve cyber defense and 73% expect faster intelligence analysis. The biggest gaps in defending against AI threats are response speed (59%) and bureaucracy (48%), while humans' ability to keep pace with AI is seen as the biggest bottleneck to safely integrating AI into military domains.
