Vercel CEO rauchg says he's "super bullish" on WebMCP: like Tesla FSD meeting real streets as they are, agents need to ride existing WWW infrastructure, and WebMCP makes that efficient. Unique wins: Next.js dev pages could expose debugging tools directly to the agent in the same tab with page context — no separate MCP server to find or configure. In that world, fx + agent-browser is a complete web dev stack with zero debugging loss. stevekaliski adds that WebMCP's declarative model is the middle ground between fast deterministic UX and low-cost agentic compute, and sites can become WebMCP-compatible quickly.
